Game Development behaves pretty much like life: it is constantly evolving. This is probably one of the things that make this job so exciting, but also what it can make it pretty unsettling. In my experience, professionals that are more willing to embrace changes and, on top of that, to prepare for them (learning new stuff, collaborating with other developers, working in challenging projects,…) have highest chances of “surviving”: making a living by being part of the game development industry.
